Just arrived in shuffle-off-to-Buffalo, NY, for the annual New York State School Boards convention, which was held for the past few years in Manhattan. Alas! But after seven rainy hours on the road with my PR pal Stephanie, we have arrived. I’ll be presenting with my fun co-presenter, Barbara Bradley, in a three-hour pre-conference workshop called “In Step With Your Public,” and then on Friday in a one-hour workshop, “All Aboard the Social Media Train.” In that workshop, we’ll examine how school districts, school officials school board candidates, and others are using social media. My how the times have changed! So if you want to jump aboard, take a look a our presentation and hop in.
