About Evelyn McCormack

Evelyn McCormack is Public Information Coordinator for Southern Westchester BOCES, an educational organization located in Westchester County, NY., where she and her staff produce approximately 50 publications a year for public school districts in the region, including newsletters, brochures, calendars and more. Evelyn is also a frequent presenter on the topic of using social media as a PR tool, particularly in public education and the non-profit sector.  For 18 years, Evelyn worked in print journalism at a group of daily newspapers located in White Plains, NY, where she rose in the ranks to the position of Senior Managing Editor. She entered the public relations field 15 years ago.
